Connect your Casio QT Terminal to a PC

So you have installed your CV31 or CV33.

How do I connect to my PC?

The simplest way is to use a Lan Cable, Patch Cable, Ethernet Cable, Cat5 or whatever your favorite name is... Its a straight thru cable. Not a Crossover cable.

S

Simply plug this cable between your PC Lan Port and the QT terminal Lan Port.

Make sure the Lan Port of your PC is either set to "Obtain an IP address automatically" or set to the IP address of the Casio Terminal.

IP addresses are set as follows:

ECR01=192.168.0.1
ECR02=192.168.0.50

By default the Casio QT Terminals will initialize with these IP Addresses. Master is 192.168.0.1 the Backup Master will be 192.168.0.50 etc...

These numbers can be changed in the QT terminals to match your local network schema if needed. If you do change the IP Address in the Terminals then you will need to change the IP Address in the "ini0" file.

Go to (C drive) >CV33 >ini0 and open the file that matches your terminal. In this case it is the QT6600.

Edit the IP address and save the file. Close your CV31 or CV33 before doing this.
